The next EMDR Network Meeting will be Monday July 16 at The Spice of Life.
There will not be a presenter at this meeting.
Based on the vote at the last meeting, there will be “special interest group” (SIG) meetings. You will be able to sit with others who want to discuss issues relevant to your SIG. We will probably have SIG tables for using EMDR/BSP with kids, trauma, addictions, couples. We can have other SIG groups as well. These are discussion groups. You can bring your questions and get suggestions and ideas from the other members of the group you attend.
You do not have to have skill in the SIG you attend. You can choose to be in a group at the meeting as a way to learn more about something you are new to.
This format is to provide lively dialogue between therapists about each topic and many people feel that they learn new and useful skills from the discussions. You do not have to specialize in that topic to join that group.
Keith Andresen is now asking for feedback on which SIG groups you would like to have at the meeting. It’s okay to request a topic even if you can’t attend the meeting.
Since this is a new format the registration fee has been reduced to $15.00 for the meeting with lunch and $2.00 for the meeting without lunch.
