We are pleased to announce that Barb Maiberger, MA, LPC — the author of “EMDR Essentials: A Guide for Clients and Therapists” and the founder of the Maiberger Institute — will be a keynote presenter at the 2017 Mental Health Professionals Conference in Denver, Colorado.
In her keynote, “Healing Trauma Through the Body: An Exploration of How Clients Can Heal Their Trauma Through Body-Centered Psychotherapies,” Barb Maiberger will explore why some clients feel stuck in their trauma, how trauma may be stored in the body and how to heal trauma through body centered psychotherapies. Using a combination of case studies, research and experiential exercises, participants will walk away with an expanded view of trauma as it relates to the body.
We hope to see you there!
